Full Batten Conversion
Mike, If your main is in fairly good condition you might consider converting the top 2 battens to full. This will have the effect of inhibiting flogging in the upper half of the sail where it is usually the most severe. I don't think there is much point in converting all the battens on a 26ft boat. For boats under 30ft we charge $125 per pocket, which includes pocket w/reinforcement, front end receptacle, and batten. Thanks, Bill C. Doyle Sails
