So, I was going to put up netting along the life lines last year to discourage our kitties from hopping off the boat. For netting, I bought cheep hammocks from walmart, which just didn't hold up and made it difficult to clip things to the toe rail. Anyways, I have 2 hammocks left over and I want to cut them down into gear hammocks. Does anyone know how I should cut them? Or have a link to instructions?
Thanks!

wow----my gear nets were only 6 dollars at a chandlery..lol...but they are made by wrapping --like whipping--the ends of the cut length you desire for the net, incorporating a loop at the end for hanging it up---the loop looks like the whipping twine/line---so looks like must be easy to make---gooodluck....will be a fun project-----make sure the loose end is tucked in well--possibly using a needle or fid....so it doesnt unravel and drop the contents of the net onto whoever is seated below it.....
