Hello everyone out there. Me and a friend of mine are fixin to invest in another boat:dance: My question is how difficult could it be to alter a trailer for a 25` to fit the 27`? Probally lots of variables but a little advise could be a lot of help. It is a 1985 model boat with an "older trailer" Just trying to get an idea. Thanks I`ll be excited to hear all comments.

My biggest concern would be whether or not the trailer could be upgraded enough to handle all the extra weight of the 27'er.
It is supposed to be an older heavy duty trailer, Still trying to get pics or info on it I am thinking that with the draft being the same it should not be a big deal
how much do these things weigh?
Any one know the approx weight of a 22 swing keel, a 25 swing keel and a 27 fixed? Catalina could not even give me an idea.:cry:

thamks for the info ! If you know of someone with a 25 swing keel and trailor for sale let me know or even just the trailer(that seems to be the hard find ) I can get the bosts all day long for 2500$ I just need a way to haul them>
With that weight, you are looking at a 3/4 ton truck. Diesel would be better than gas if doing lots of driving.
