Does anyone know how and where to purchase conversion kits to convert alcohol stove on 1983 catalina 30 to propane?? Thanks

I have found http://www.tauntonstove.com/services/Thay sead I must send the stove to them and thay dont sell a kit to convert to propain. The cost was $450 to $550 for them to do the work.If you have any other info i would like to know as I have a 1983 i would like to change over to propain.

Get a hammer

It is going to be a lot easer if you just get a hammer and start beating on your toes. I put this stove in my C-30 and I am happy with it. You might have to get a little creative with the installation but at $199.00 it is a good deal. Rodger

Go to Cabela's web site

www.cabelas.com, do a serch for Outback stove. That should get you there. RodgerBy the way this stove works with one pound cans so there is no propain lockers , expensive valves, tanks and hoses. That stuff is $300. to $400.. If you want I will send you some pictures of mine. rca10@comcast.net
