Control panel

So how does one access their control panel for a message on this board? Got an email stating somebody inquired about my boat for sale and the message is in the control panel. I checked everywhere for this but don't find it. There are no notifications or private messages to me.

What am I missing?

upper right on main page shows an envelope. Click on that. Private messages show there

It wasn't a PM and PM list shows "0" messages.

Didn't know you could receive email through this site. Can't help with your specific question, but I wonder if it is some sort of email scam?

Contact a moderator here via PM and ask your question. "Brian D" is a moderator, as an example.

Just figured this out myself a couple of days ago when I got a similar message. When you are logged in and go to the classified section and click on the Classified Ads tab, there is a drop down link for Advertiser Control Panel. Click on the link for your ad on the next page. Then, about halfway down the page is a section on Inquiries and a link to view your inquiries.
Not intuitive.
