This is a 2003 Hunter 306. Can you please look at this picture and tell me how to disengage the transmission to increase the throttle. I did look for any release. I did try to pull out laterally. it appears like there is something mission over the control lever attachment nut.

It is. That is a Lewmar single handle engine control. I've have one now and have had 3 others, all slightly different but the same idea. It is missing the neutral plunger, and it's covering cap.
