Contacting Catalina tech support??

This has likely been asked previously so apologies if this is redundant. I've tried 3 times thus far to contact Catalina by phone, first in California and then twice at two different numbers in Florida, ALL without a return call. This is my first experience attempting to get customer service which is supposedly good but certainly has not been my experience. Two questions - 1. is this typical?, and 2. any secrets as to how to actually speak with someone? Thanks in advance Don

leave a message with specific request. If that doesn't work, send him a FAX. He's pretty good. And so are the rest of the crew there. Keep trying.

Stu thanks for the reply but you imply this is normal by suggesting I keep trying. Exactly how many times should it take for a customer service office to respond to a simple request for a common part?

am explaining my personal experience. Your mileage may differ. My contacts have been good but I have heard this complaint many times before. I have also learned that they are very busy in the afternoons filling morning requests. From your time zone, you should be able to get them here in CA real early. OK, does that mean they're bad because of that? Dunno. Please, don't shoot the messenger. Remember, you asked. BTW, don't ask for "Customer Service," ask for PARTS. ..and: what's your question? Maybe we can begin to help to answer it here. Maybe, if it's for your boat, your www.Cxx.org Association website may have a parts list or a manual, right on line. All sorts of options for you.

I sent an email on behalf of another forum member directly to Catalina. I had a response within 24 hours. Forget the phone call, try email.
