considering purchase of a 331 or 311

I am interested in purchasing either a 311 or 331 this winter. Anyone who owns either you comments would be much appreciated.This will be a first boat for my family (Wife, son, Golden Retriever and myself).All of our sailing will be on the Chesapeake bay, family cruising with a occasional overnight.Thanks.

I am thinking the same thing. Two weeks ago I was on a 311 and 331 at a marina. You will find the difference in interior room surprising. Cockpit is about the same which to be quite honest was smaller on both that I imagined, though still just fine. Made the mistake of going aboard a new 36CC and 361 which both blew me away. I say mistake only due to $$ involved in those. All interiors very very nice. SM
