Considering purchase of a 26X

As most of my sailing will soon be done in warm but shallow waters, I am thinking of purchasing a MacGregor 26X. I'd like to hear what other 26X owners think of their craft in terms of it's handling, interior room etc.

Great Boat

I have owned a 26x for the past two years and love the boat. It sails well, and it is great to travel 26+ MPH to your favorite sailing grounds. The boat is very roomy for a 26ft boat. It is very easy to trailer, My family and I tow ours with a 1997 Chevy Astro van with a 4.3 V-6. Last years trip we logged over 3500 miles on vacation. After years of wanting a Macgregor (first the 26s and then the 26x) I am still very happy with my decission to purchase the 26x.
