Connecting the boom to the mast

Hunter 22 Missouri
I recently acquired a 1982 Hunter 22 (with the full cabin) that lost its mast. I have the boom, but no picture of what the boom to mast connection looks like. Does anyone have a close up of that connection. I have a 26 foot mast from another boat that I may be able to adapt. Below is a picture of my boom (mast end).

Any help would be greatly appreciated. The boat needs sails, a boom vang, stays and shrouds, and minor fiberglass work along with a new bulk head. Nothing I can't do, just takes time. Spent two weeks cleaning off the caked on grime inside and out. Underneath was a boat worth the rebuild. The boom to mast connection has me stumped.

The part is called a goose neck. Start your search with that

Welcome to the forum.
You might find useful information here, However Hunter named two different boats “22”, some of the info isn’t relevant to your 22 but to the remodelled 216 which is also called the 22.

You boom and gooseneck fittings were manufactured by Kenyon Spars. Rig-Rite has the boom portion and may stock the mast fitting. If you don't have luck with them, send me a private message. I know someone who has one for sale.

This is a boat built before 1985. Ted is correct on whom to go to but a photo of the goose neck on the mast would definitely help to assist you further

What does the parts on mast look like. That boom goose neck has the up and down part but not the side to side. could be as simple as attaching a hinge to mast and bolting that tang to hinge
