Greetings,
I seem to be having an issue with moisture inside my cabin, wasn't a problem during the summer for obvious reasons, but with the weather fluctuation is driving me up the wall. I've been trying to keep on top of it, and have been using a dehumidifier to keep the moisture down, but it doesn't seem to be keeping all of the condensation at bay, and I'm gonna lose it if mold starts showing up! Any helpful hints or tips would be awesome, thanks for your time and help.

Ventilate, Ventilate, Ventilate .......................

........... is your best defence.

IMHO chemical dehumidifiers are useless unless you can hermetically seal your boat.

Properly sized refrigerative dehumidifiers do work but are costly in electricity.

Have you tried to eliminate all possible sources of moisture such as water in the bilge and head seat(s) left up ?

No, actually I haven't left them open... The bilge is fairly dry, as I don't use my shower in port. Perhaps I'll try leaving the hatches open during the day to cook the moisture out, then close up shop in the evening when the fog rolls in. Thanks a lot for the tips.

Fans .... Must keep good air circulation throughout the boat. Has worked for me.

Fans are good. Most of my mold problem went away when I took down my curtains and let sunlight bounce around the cabin interior. Now I just have to tend to the far reaches of the vberth and the back of the quarter-berth, neither of which gets much sunlight. Using Comet Spray Gel twice a year works great for that.
