Our Hunter 40 Legend has the freezer and cooler boxes mounted in the counter on the starboard side. The cooler box is mounted directly over one of the hull supports so that there is about 6 inches of smooth gelcoat that is exposed before going under the flooring. When the freezer has been running for an extended period of time we get a nice little flow of water down the gelcoat to puddle on the floor. All of the 40's we looked before buying ours at had water marks in this area also so I assume that this is a common problem. Do we just keep mopping or has someone found a solution to this minor problem?
