Conch Key rentals

I was unaware the place existed! I'd been eyeballing this one though, where the cottages come with a Catalina 22:

dixiedawg - we rented from key lime a few years ago. Interesting cottages. Boats were just OK. Needed some TLC. Contact me directly for more info if you wish.
I think key lime is up for sale. saw it ads section of cruising world...
I called them a few times, but they wanted a 4 night say min.... and not interested in a weekend rental.

I`ve seen Key Lime also. We stopped in during a Key West trip last year. A little tired, Annie told me she wouldn`t stay there. They did have an interesting visitor at the pier while we were there. The women told us he shows up about once a month just to say hi and drink freshwater out of their hose.

I have stayed at Key Lime 4 times, absolutely loved it. Great time. Yeah, if you want five star go somewhere else. But it is comfortable, the boats do get maintained. Outboards occasionally have a problem but they have a mechanic on site as well as a hell of a tool shed and sewing machine. If something breaks it gets fixed, what more could you ask? Nice evening sunsets at the tiki hut on the water, fresh coconuts, Gin & Tonic, what else could you want?You can't rent a freakin boat for the price of the cottages.
Great places to eat close buy, not the touristy crap you get in Islamorada or the Keys. West Marine down the street. Make sure they give you a shade tarp, as it can get sunny. Easy to put up an 8 x 10 on a Catalina 22. Swing keel is my favorite. Sail to places to eat as well. FANTASTIC Vacations there always. If I didn't own a Hunter 35.5 in San Carlos in the Baja, I would be in Key Largo. MM 99.....

I rented a cottage at Conch Key with the Compact 23 included in 2010. Got the two bedroom one and shared with another couple. Spent a week there. Very nice cottage. We sailed, snorkeled, and toured the other Keys.
