Way cool. If you ever find a conch pearl you will have a rare find indeed. They're the color of the shell and drop-dead gorgeous. They can't be cultured. Seeding them kills the conch.
Practice often lad, I once transformed my conch horn skills into a liter of Pussers Rum down on Marina Cay! Beat a lass from the horn section of the Philadelphia symphony to take the prize home to the boat! We had a happy crew that night.
Actually this is one case where you do have to blow your own horn. Mine needed a little chunk of meat blown out with a hose, smelled for a while until the bleach cleaned it out.
