Does anyone know where we can get refills of compressed natural gas in the Georgian Bay or Barrie, Ontario areas? Thanks.

It can be tough but check here

Hey Linda & Chris I have an 85 Catalina 30 with compressed natural gas stove too. I have to get it from a welding supply shop 3 hours away from me. I bought a 3rd. cylinder to help out. Problem is it was $245.00 for the tank and only $15.oo to fill them up. Check some welders in your area. Dean www.blowinganddrifting@yahoo.com

from the GBHSA website

Welcome to Penetang. We're at BayMoorings. Are you new to this area or just relocating from close by. From the Georgian Bay Hunters Association web site. You may want to join the group. It's informal and have a couple of rendevous's each year. More of a social thing. http://www.gbhsa.8m.net/photo2.html Those locations are in Mississauga and Scarborough, but depending where you are, may work out for you. If not it may give you some ideas. You may want to check with your marina. I've found the have a lot of local knowledge. Another great site you may want to check out on the Georgian Bay region. http://web.mac.com/dwh5/Sweetwater_Cruising/Cruising_Georgian_Bay_and_the_North_Channel.html

Thanks Scott

We bought a Catalina 27 at the end of last summer and are moored at Hindsons. Hubby decided it wasn't big enough so it is for sale and we are having our 1989 37.5 Hunter delivered from New Jersey on Apr. 18. Was aware of the GBHA (hubby knows John and Kerry Vasey) and will be joining soon. Can't wait for the new boat to arrive (trusted the husband's judgment on it as I have only seen photos!)

Linda, nice boat

made the mistake last year in letting the other half go onto a new 38 at the rendevous and seeing the huge difference in the interior, esp. the aft cabin. John is getting a '99 380 up from Buffalo, not sure if its at the marina yet or not, but you may already know that.
