I built my own composting head, for under $50 in materials. No more thru hulls ,no more valves ,no more females plugging it up with used manhole covers, etc, no more risk of the head ever sinking the boat, or ever getting plugged up by anything, no hoses or holding tanks. Love it!
Search airhead.com, or natureshead.com.
Airhead charged $1200, for a few dollars worth of SS and plastic. One of their crew got pissed off, and set up Nature's Head, just down the road, for around $800.
Now there is Sea Head for around $300. If any of you has business contacts in India or China, I'm sure you could get them to make them, and sell them for under $50 and still make a good profit. They would sell well in India, and possibly save a lot of lives there.
I'm told they don't work so well with a lot of people on board, but for one or two, they work just fine. I'll never go back to a conventional head.
