compass suggestion?

I am the owner of a second hand Catalina 22 (WITCHY WOMAN) which came with a Saturn compass.It is mounted on the starboard bulkhead ateye level and is impossible to read when at the helm because the readings are on the top. Can someone suggest a reasonably priced replacement and suggest the best place to mount it.... Thanks DJ

Try Boat/US

They have a nice compas that will fit your needs. I forget the model # but it is in their catalog.The unit is a bulkhead mount that you can read facing it and from above. It also has a nice built in heel-o-meter level gauge and lighting.I belive the compass sell for $70.00Steve.

The issue was August 1, 2001.....go to thier webiste (below) and you can order a back issue...or have it faxed to you....it'll peoabbly be worth the few extra dollars
