Saturn

Hi There, For my choice after looking thru catalogs and visiting differnt chandleries I found that for me a bulkhead mounted compass is what I wanted with a big enough card I could see even at night . Thats why I chose a Saturn. It takes a 4' hole saw to accomadate it but once it's in it is just great. It's very stable and with a red card with white numbers it is very easy to see at night. It even has a red light for lighting the card up for you. So now you have my thoughts on it. Let us know what you decided to buy. Happy Sailing, :) Dave LaPere

compass(tac-tic)

I just purchased a "TAC-TIC" compass for my 22, it mounts on the mast under the boom....I've lined it up with the line of sight over the bow so I dont have to look down to see it. It also has a count down feature for racing, elaps time, and a tac-back feature showing lifts and headers and best of all, it's electronic, solar, and digetal.....gives you LARGE numbers to read instead of a compass card... I'll never go back to the standard compass again..... Randy
