Compass cover

Need help! I have a Danforth Saturn Series Model A140 on the 260. Can't get a hood for it anywhere in Australia. Anyone know how to contact the manufacturers in the USA or even better know of someone who might have them in stock in the US.

I would contact one of the compass repair companies like this one. I don't know anything about this company, but it is a place to start.

My wife made our compass cover out of Sunbrella material and sewed in a shock cord at the bottom. We applied 303 Fabric Guard water repelant to it. It has worked well for us. She had no pattern, just took measurements and she made it up.

A hood might mean a full cover which I found a reference # at this link somewhere around page 9:

If a hood is the smaller sun shield for the top half of the unit then maybe you can get it through the PDF attached in the link. I also ran across a reference to Jabsco and ITT which may have merged with danforth explaining why Bills Danforth link is dead.
