I've had my boat for 5 years and rebuilt the interior getting rid of the pilot berths, purchased new sails and now thinking about repowering. I have a 1979 volvo penta MD7A (13 h.p. Diesel)raw water cooled and would like to discuss repowering with a 20-25 h.p. diesel, fresh water cooled.Anby discussion about this and the boat in general would be welcomed. GOB Columbia 9.6

Hi,I've had my Columbia 9.6 for 3 yrs. The first winter it stayed in the water. Had a great sail on New Year's day. The second winter it was out of the water for engine rebedding and prop shaft replacement.Did a bit of sailing on the Potomac river and then took it out of the water for the winter. So far I've repaired a leak in the keel extension and repaired some delamination on the rudder. No sailing this year.This winter I'll start on the interior re-hab. Reengine

Let me know if you find out anything on the reengine. I currently have a 9.6 with the same motor.
