Companionway Teak Replacement

A friend used that plastic decking material and used it to replace all
the teak wood on the out side of his boat like the ladder teak strips on the stainless ladder and toe rail and side strips of teak.
He cut from the decking material I think 4'' or 5''X 3/4 and just cute it to match all the old teak and it even match the boat like a tan color,never touch it again,
got it from a lumber supply yard for decking.
I keep saying I will use the same material to replace my compionway strip but it
is still looking good for now.
