Companionway sliding hatch

Hi, all.
Anyone ever had to have a sliding hatch fabricated? It's plexiglass, slightly curved, 1/2" thick. Local plastics places can't (don't want to) make the jig for the curve. Probably because it's too expensive.
I'm trying to contact the manufacturer of the boat (Pearson) but they've changed hands a few times since 1988.
Any marine plastics companies you know of that might be able to do this?
Any help is much appreciated.

Maritime Plastics in Annapolis

I had a new one made for my Hunter 37C at Maritime Plastics in Annapoiis, MD. Keith is as great guy to work with. On their Web site there is a picture of my hatch.

Sure enough, a new slider on an H37C( http://maritimeplastics.com/pics/13.jpg ). Now how am I going to remember Maritime Plastics when I need one? This problem was discussed recently where one owner made a new one from starboard. He was able to heat it and form the curve. This appeals to me because the current one lets in too much sun. It bleaches the varnish on the bulkhead next to the ladder.

Ed, you might consider what I did here in my condo: The lower panel of my windows was at eye level to anyone outside. The storm window was plastic, so I put fine paper in the sander and sanded both sides of the window panels to frost them. Doing just one side might have been sufficient, and probably would be on the hatch. A surprise benefit was that theose panels now became a "light source" and actually brightened the room. On the boat, this should block the sun, but brighten the cabin.

Thanks everyone. One plastics fabricator suggested contacting the yacht manufacturer, Pearson, but they've changed hands so many times, they're difficult to track down. I've been referred to four fabricators so far. Hopefully Maritime can make it happen.
