I have a nice 1981 Hunter 33 with a wooden, inlaid wooden companionway slide hatch. It look s great but sun and time have separated the inlaid strips, and it leeks like a sieve. I've tried several approaches to sealing it - nothing lasts more than 6 months - suggestions ? I don;t want to llok for a fiberglass replacement - this looks too good, and I don;t want to pay (another) arm and a leg for this repair - others more important (ok - I know - it's a boat and everything costs an arm and a leg)
