Just spent the night onboard during Ernesto. Not much to do except hold on and look around. A crack below the top step previously repaired with FG filler has gotten worst. It seems to me that the composite may not be fiberglass. What type of filler should be used? Also, before I break a light how do you replace a bulb. It is a matter of twisting off the flange or popping. Thaks for your help in advance....

I'm one creek over in Bodkin. I heard that Rock or Stony Cr. got hammered and several boats sank at the dock. How do your area fair? We didn't have anything except a few leaves on the deck. OBTW I spent the night on my boat. Saw a "horrifying" 40 kt gust and the starboard skylight sprang a leak. What was I thinking I could have stubbed my toe when the shore power went off suddenly. Landsend, your point is well taken and I surely would have stayed home had there been 100 kt winds forcast. I ain't dumb, just a slow learner. ;-) Roosa Family TRITIUM

Damage?
Hello Roosa Family, No sign of any damage. To my surprise many boaters did not remove biminis or dodgers. Docklines were doubled....Weather reports were accurate. It was nasty at times........Glad you made out as well
