I had the same problem. A lock shop made two keys for me. One worked the other didn't. Ace, Lowes, Home Depot didn't have the blanks. The lock shop told me the lock made in Italy lock. What was Beneteau thinking?

My boat didn't have keys when I bought her, but I took the lock into a local locksmith and he hand cut some to fit. Call around to local locksmiths and see if you can find any with a sense of adventure : ) !

Or you could have searched or clicked on page 8 of 128... go back to June 16th and get one answer to this often-asked queastion:

(June 16th) I believe all Beneteau keys are the same blank. I've answered this question a number of times on this forum, so if you search for "keys" you may find it. I believe the key I have is the one I had from my 235. It is a Taylor, with "41RB" in a circle. The other side says "fits CG22,1041E". The first ones I had made, the locksmith matched the points of the old one and the new one. It didn't work. He then lined up the shoulders and recut, and this wacked off some of the point. That worked. Please let us know if this works for you. ( The OP never responded that it worked for him- Ron)

I just came back from the local True Value Hardware store.

I already had a Taylor key that worked, with "41RB" in a circle. The other side says "fits CG22,1041E".

My other key (2006B323, OEM?) said AU-411, made by Select.

I also had, and just got 2 new ones, "ilco (USA)" number 997E, Y52. This was the TVH standard line of blanks. Just be sure to line up the shoulders of the key. Yes, it requires cutting off alot of the blank, but the new ones work.

I was able to get a replacement lock and extra set of keys from Beneteau for my 361.
