Companion way boards on H23.5

[Karyon]

What was used as the original companion way boards on the H23.5 ? The ones that are on our boat are wood and are ugly and weathered. I was thinking of getting a piece of 5/8 Lexan and build me some new ones.

What do most of you H23.5 / H26 have?

I have 3 panels. Bottom and top are solid teak, middle is smoked acrylic.

the orginal boards were all three wood pieces as the first 235 left the factory with me. Later came two boards and 1 lexan and later 3 lexan pieces.

I bought my '93 23.5 new from the dealer in Jacksonville, Florida. It came with 2 (teak?) plywood boards that I still have. Don't ask. They are no longer usable. Now I have 3 mahogany boards that I made and contemplating making a Lexan (or similar material) panel to replace the middle board.

make sure ever the lips are beveled so to deflect water.

Don't measure the boards when on the trailer. My boards fit perfectly on the trailer but there is a 3/4 inch gap on top when on the water.

Fred, forgot all about that as some do not get the boat level on the trailer. Good point. Thanks
