removehtml]Can anyone tell me where the packing gland is on my rudder shaft? My boat is a 1995 Compac 27/3 with the standard quadrant style steering.Where the shaft runs through the hull it appears I have some disturbed caulk with a minute water seepage(maybe a gallon a day).However I want to check the rudder gland if possible for leaks also.Thanks,Capt.
