Stu Jackson;
With the intiial information given on this specfic thread, not enough information was given regarding the engine to determine the specific causaul relationship and responsibility for those damages which is why I spoke up as a former investigator too.. As for the commissioning charges, often many complain but from a retired dealer perspective I wanted you all to know what we had to pay as most dealers do not make one red cent off that and in fact pay out more on commissioning. The freight is one big item but going up I-95 to New York with all the restrictions, requirements, tolls and so forth is very expensive too. I use to pull boats from VA to Atlantic City, NJ and that was not cheap.
Yes, I have read the other posts and I am also aware of some things too but have opted out not to say anything as I am retired and I did not sell the boat to gregg L.
For those who purchased boats before the buyout from the bankruptcy court, Hunter under new ownership did not buy the liabillity. There is an old expression that you catch more flies with honey than with fly paper and with that, I will not say anymore on this thead.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year
