Commisioning waste tank for first time

Dear Peggy: Just purchased your book. Will be commisioning my boat in a week or so (for the first time). Could you direct me to a prior post on the archives that describes the steps to take on commisioning the waste tank for first time? I tried various searches but didn't get exactly what I wanted. I'm sure that the topic is covered in your book but I'm not sure its going to be here early enough. Thanks.

First time use

All ya gotta do is check to make sure the vent line off the tank isn't blocked, and then add the recommended dose of either Odorlos or Raritan K.O. for the size of your holding tank to the toilet bowl along with the first flush. All book orders that had been placed in time to process 'em by the end of the day last Friday went to the Post Office this morning...you should have 'em by the end of the week. I'll ship tomorrow any processed today.
