owned two
bought my first one in 1984 -- it changed my sailing life... no more hand steering, shock cord setups, etc. Since I sailed a light 23' Aquarius sloop with a crew madeup of of my 3 sons age 15, 10, and 7 - it was a godsend.Unfortunately the first one lasted 1 1/2 years and then froze up. The factory repair would cost $250 and a new one cost $359. I threw out number one and purchased number two. This unit steered my boat for 11 seasons. When I got a new boat, I sold the old unit for $50.00 - it is still at work.Good luck with detailed info. I let all my manuals, etc. go with the unit when I sold it.Bill MurrayS/V Good Faithh29.5 #175
