I am the new owner of a 1979 CP-16. Just picked it up this past weekend and couldn't wait to get her on the water, so I did. It was very windy and cold (for Florida) and we had a blast. I am now starting the process of adding some items to the boat.
I am wondering if anybody has any advice for me on what size bimini to get. I know that we will need one, and I would like something large enough that we can use it as a rooftop for converting the cockpit into an enclosed sleeping space.
What have others done along this line?
