Hi, I would like to mount a code zero on my boat a Hunter 50,year 2007, armed with self-tacking jib. Someone has already tried to mount it on the same boat? What do you recommend? thanks Vincenzo:)

Code zero is a sail that covered the range fron 45° a 90° and is used in light winds. My problem is that my boat is poor performance in light winds.

I took a real hard look at going with a code 0 but I ended up going with an asym from North sails instead. I did this because I could get a deeper angle down wind than with a code 0. I added a Selden GX furler so I can deal with the asym much like a code 0. The Jury is still out on the GX I have not had the opportunity to use is that much. The main issue is how to mount the furler on the anchor roller. I found that the hole provided is to close to the bow pulpit. So I've been attaching the GX to the pin locks the anchor to the roller on the short side of the anchor roller. Its not optimum but it is functional.

I don't have a good answer for you but I suggest you start a new thread in the big boat section
