Hi,

We are preparing Our "New" First 47.7 for the season here in Norway. The boat is missing a cocpit table and I have seen on other First boats a detatchable wooden table to Mount on a steel profile which is permanent mounted on the cocpit floor.

Anyone who have ideas where to get tables like this (exept the Beneteau dealer in Norway)? Tables for other brands is also of interest.

Cockpit tables are common on the Oceanus line but rare on the First series. Like our boat, yours has a GPR 'pyramid' that supports the wheel. I know several owners that have had a table made. It consists of a flat top with two folding legs on one side. On the other side, there are two stainless 'tabs', that slide downward into small brackets mounted to the forward side of the pyramid. When the legs are down and the tabs locked into place, the setup is very sturdy.

Yes, that is a good idea. Then the table will be totally away when sailing. I had offers from Hanse and Beneteau on more fixed solutions, but prices are far out.
