Denis, every boat is different and there is no standard on this sort of thing. What is the boat? Wheel or tiller? You would be best directing this question to owners of the same model boat. If you post some pictures and cockpit measurements, I would be happy to help you design something.Tim R.

Hi Denis, in addition to Tim's comments...

do you have access to wood working tools? I've made two drop down tables with fold out leafs all made of teak. Both were attached to pedestal guards. Do you have one of those, too?Terry

even Noah had some kind of measurements and probably a couple pics.Anything can be built from wood. Like all the guys requested, give us some information.
