I have a Beneteau Oceanis 423 which I have had for almost 5 years.
To make the table bigger you have to attach two very heavy, beautifully varnished teak table flaps.
It is such a performance every time you need them that you end up balancing your plate on your lap rather than go to all the hassle of fitting them, plus you wouldn't want to leave them out in the sun and rain because the varnish would soon be spoilt.
Has anyone managed to get a table made in fibreglass or similar that can be left on all the time and just folded down when not in use?
I'd be grateful for any ideas.
Stuart.

If you're handy, or have a bit of cash for a local craftsman, I'm sure you could come up with something using that synthetic material "Starboard". It's rigid but light, and will take a fastener. Some hinges, some aluminum rod holders, some screws.
