Much nicer. Did you make that from oak flooring? Thought about making one that would cam clap on to the top of the tiller. Then it could be swung up out of the way or swung sideways for easy easy access.

Soul, I don't want to hijack your thread and I tried to PM you but I could not attach pictures.
This is an idea I've bee kicking around for a while now. The idea is for the table to be able to hinge up or swing to the side out of the way, while mooring. I have some 1" honeycomb panels that can be laminated and edged with teak.
