We are brand new to Beneteau. Looking for info on how to repair and/or replace hinges on cockpit lockers on the 35s5. Ours are worn through. Is it better to replace with standard hinges or repair fibreglass and replace bolts, washers and nuts?
I also have worn hinges. I plan to replace mine with a regular hinge, probably about 4 inches long place about 1/5th of the distance from each end. I think it will be stronger and last longer. A friend has them on their 35s5 and it works great. Fair winds, Graham
