All -

Any easy tricks to keep these open? Usually I just strong arm the door with one hand and dive with the other.

Do you all install gas struts/shocks to keep them open? Or just a rope that goes around the bimini/dodger frame?

I am guessing there is an easy tip here and would love to hear it.

Thanks!

On my boat I just use a line and tie to closest anchor point - lifeline, Bimini post etc

Bunge Cord. Have 2 loops on the bottom of the cover which stores the cord when not in use.

The H31 had a short cable and hook on the aft locker doors to put on the backstays. Depending on the wind direction, use bunge chord for the port and starboard lockers. I note, however, that the hasps used on the H31 can lock if the door slams shut. If you happen to be working in the starboard locker when that happens better hope you have properly provisioned it with food, drink, and an appropriate excuse.
