having replaced all the teak trim on a hunter 23 and with some incorrectly ordered teak left over, , i am tempted to build a lattice work floorboard system, to sit in the cockpit floor , and which would be long enough to pick up , turn 90 degrees, and rest on the gunwales becoming a table for lunch or snacks. would appreciate any thoughts or suggestions .

that will work. make the holes small

and remember that all of the sticks have been cut halfway through.

Hmmm

Let me get this straight: you want to walk all over it, then eat off it? There's just something about that idea that doesn't sit right with me.

Nice job

Dick, I'm in the process of building the grate system for my Newport 30, Because of the T shape cockpit I'll have to make it a 4 piece set up. I'll have to post pics when I finish, and your right not to 1/2 dado all the pieces.
