I have a 1993 H 33.5. There are two rather large eyestraps in the drain slots at each end of the cockpit locker on the starboard side. Can anyone tell me what purpose(s) they have? Thanks much. Ken T.
If your boat is used, I bet the previous owner installed these eyes to have a place to clip in a tether for his safety harness, or to use as an anchor spot for a jack line. He probably used the drain slots so he would not have to drill a hole. Hope this helps, Bob S/V Lady Di II H31
