Just bought this boat and the previous owner put epoxy in the factory drains on the port and starboard sides of the stern cockpit because he said it was a "flawed" design and didn't drain well. He cut a hole in the center of the stern wall and it is too high to drain, so there is always water in the cockpit.
We just had a huge rain and we came out to find a lot of water in the bottom of the boat that had leaked in the aft berth...doesn't appear to be from the vent window/port hole but from that area.
Has anyone else had a problem with the factory drainage in this boat? I am thinking about reopening the holes he covered up.
