Cockpit drain?

Trying to think ahead here. For my cockpit drain on my 222, right now I just have something rigged up between the cockpit drain and through-hull with a pvc ell and some radiator hose to keep. I'm guessing I need to find a preformed radiator hose with a 90 degree bend to fit between the two fittings. Any other ideas? Something that may work better IMO would be a cockpit drain with a 90 degree bend built into it and then attach a straight piece of hose between the two fittings. I swear I've seen them before but can't seem to find any right now.

Hose from West Marine

When I was refitting my 1983 23' I replaced this hose. My also has a 90 degreee bend which a formed hose fits best. But, west Marine and other have straight hose of the correct size that will bend to fit. You loose some of the internal diameter by bending it, but it has nevet been a problem with flow or clogging. I also removed both end fittings and resealed them for a good fit. good luck

I replaced mine

with a pre-formed radiator hose. I took the old one to a regular auto parts store and found a perfect diameter match.

Similar to what I have

My temporary setup is similar. Just some "marine grade" radiator hose with a pvc elbow with short sections of pvc to plug into the hose. I may do what y'all did and switch to the clear. Definitely easier to work with and I like the idea of it being clear. Thanks for the ideas!
