Cockpit Drain replacement Oday 192

I am replacing the cockpit drain hose on my 192. What kind of hose should I use and what shape should I make it. I will attach it with hose clamps. Thanks fo your help.

I'm doing the same thing

to my 222. The original is the same dimensions as auto radiator hose. Radiator hose stands up for years against tougher conditions than it would face as a cockpit drain so I think it will be fine. Just bring your old one to the store to match it. I bought a piece from the local auto parts store and will probably install it this weekend.
