Cockpit Drain Hose Size

Does anyone know what size hose is needed to connect the cockpit drains to the through hulls on the stern? I have an '83 Catalina 30, and the hoses are in terrible shape.

Edit: Apparently it's not 1.5 inches, since that size replacement hose didn't fit.

Mine was rotted through so most water drained down into the bilge, missing the drain all together (1981 Catalina) Replaced mine with flexible radiator hose. Not sure which one I used but I had to go back to the auto supply store at least once. The rubber hose made it easy to clamp down. Tried using a similar exhaust hose that was originally on there but it was too hard to wrestle in there. I'm away right now so I can't tell you the exact size.
