Does anyone have any experience in changing the bulb in the cockpit deck light located at the bottom of the pedestal? I can't access the bulb, the lens just spins around and the back of the housing doesn't come apart
I believe yours is the same as my 340. The ring holding the lens snaps off from the underlying ring that hold the lens ring in place. You may need to use a screwdriver to pop it off. Be careful because the lens is not attached to the ring and will come flying out once you separate the two.
Just took mine apart today in fact. Snaps off; yes, I spun it several times before realizing there had to be another approach. The lens comes off too, just like Allen says. A small screwdiver or knife will do the trick. Paul
