I'm looking for patterns to make cockpit cushions for our 280. I'm sure I can give it my best shot, but if someone offers a standardized set of patterns I know that would make the job easier. Thanks for any input you can offer!
I would HIGHLY recommend that you purchase closed cell foam cockpit cushions from "C Cushions" or "BottomSiders" (BottomSiders has order info in the Chandlery on this website). I purchased mine from "C Cushions" at the Strictly Sail Boatshow and got the "boatshow" discount. They do not soak up water and your "bottomside" will be a lot happier. Also, suggest that you get them with "snaps" to hold them in place. Well worth the investment! Wish I had bought them 7 years ago when I purchased my H31 1987 model. bill
Bill, Thanks for your perspective. We have seen those cushions at the Strictly Sail in Miami, but didn't feel in our hot summer sun that they would be the best option for us. Guess we are worried about the "stick" factor.
