cockpit cushions

I want to purchase cockpit cushions for my 2005 Beneteau 373. I see ads for closed cell and Bottomsliders on this site. Does anyone have a suggestion as to which is better.

I have bottomsiders and am pleased with them, good fit, and they don't soak up water. I opted for a light color so they have less of a tendency to get hot to the touch in the sun. You have to be careful with sunblock oils though. You can get info on pricing and delivery through this site.

We have the closed cell covered in sunbrella which are very comfortable. Even more comfortable are the bean bag cushions the wife made for the helm seats. She used an material designed for outdoor use to cover the interior bag. She also attached quick connect straps for attachment to the stanchions. If you or the wife are handy at sewing give it a try.
