I have the heavier WM style. The lighter weight ones are often called "stadium seats"

We use a chair called Sport-a-Seat. We met the owners years ago (15+) at the Newport International Boat Show and bought 2. We still have them, aside from the covers needing a good cleaning they are like new (I’ll get to it).
The locking mechanism is remains smooth and holds well.
