Have a Beneteau 40. Two LED lights in the cockpit and on the transom that are 12V, "Hella" brand, about 2" Diameter. Can't for the life of me get them to turn on. Disconnected and verified no power getting to them. My assumption is that they are activated by the deck light switch on the DC panel. breaker getting power. Is there another switch that I am missing?

I don't have your boat, but two basic questions.... (1) Are these lights on the original wiring diagram in your owners manual? Do you think they're original equipment? (2) Did you try turning everything on, including mystery switches? They may be controlled by a wall switch wired in series, in addition to the breaker. BTW, boat year?

Last resort (not fun!), trace the wires from the back.

On our 37 they are remote controlled. You might have a "key fob" style remote somewhere that triggers a Aqua Signal receiver.
