Hunter 460 cockpit slider leaks when it rains. We believe it has something to do with the embedded solar panel. An ideas or suggestions?

I have the same problem with my Hunter 410, and have been tempted to seal around the edges of the built-in solar panel. Looking forward to others' experiences with this.
My H26 companionway used to leak very badly. I tried adding camber to the beams, calk etc. I eventually got one of these from the SBO store and it is now dry as a bone.
One tip! Put a tennis ball under the cover in the center of the slider. It will let the water run off and you won't get dried up crud buildup on your cover.
